In a 48h non-stop-operation during the weekend, the entire team joined efforts and shared shifts to ensure our 24/7 service as usual, while relocating our existing works and offices from Stretford Motorway Estate to our new purpose built facility at St Modwen Road, some 200 metres away.
Set to facilitate the expanding needs of NDC electronics and NDC ServoLab businesses, NDC designed and financed this new Service Centre. This journey started on the 28th of October of last year, and, representing an investment of over £1 million, the 6,700 square foot purpose built facility was constructed directly next to sister company CPM Engineering.
This new state of the art Service Centre building will house NDC’s Drive, Electronic and ServoLab divisions within dedicated areas. It will also act as a hub to despatch NDC’s site services Teams to the growing markets throughout the Midlands, North and Scotland.
This development provides NDC with a modern electronic and servo laboratory, and will allow NDC to expand their R&D and production capability. This will mean that NDC’s production facilities will have the latest high tech diagnostics and testing facilities, combined with further office and staff facilities.
The plan was to avoid any disruption to the usual high standards of the services that NDC offer, and together with the budget and schedule, everything ran as predicted.
